Famous Customer Emergency Story
When Buddy was first operating Bonnie Brae Golf on University Boulevard between Denver Country Club and Cherry Hills Country Club, one of his clients broke a shaft during the country club championship.
He gave his caddy the keys to his Mercedes and said "Get this club to Buddy, I want it fast."
The exact shaft was replaced, a matching grip installed and the head was drilled out and heated to make it set faster.
The caddy rushed the repaired club back to the country club and ran out to the playing member who was able to continue--with his favorite iron.
