In fitting and repairing golf clubs, Bryan "Buddy" Beem he has more experience than any clubmaker in Colorado. He was the first KZG certified fitter in Colorado and has remained so for 26 years. Buddy has been named amoung the Top 100 Clubfitters in America for 25 years.
The most distinguishing feature of the Gemini Irons are the dual weight ports with optional weights (1.5, 3, 4.5, 7, 9 grams). Controlling weight of a clubhead is critical in any custom club fitting. Changes in weight effect the the power on impact, ball flight, bias and the ability to frequency match a set. KZG independent professionals are adept at selecting the weight that can optimize any golfer’s swing and performance.
The thin top-line on the Gemini Iron is the choice of “players” and discerning golfers. The sole has been designed with a contour which is versatile for all types of swings and all types of turf conditions, including firm, tight conditions or fluffy soft conditions. The midsized head profile with undercut and perimeter weighting optimizes forgiveness.
The triple forging process on 1020 virgin carbon steel gives the KZG’s signature soft feeling irons. The entire Gemini head is CNC milled for precise specifications to produce accuracy and consistency.
Buddy Beem designed KZG's best selling DS-1 putter.
“I chose a triple-forged process so that the putter is extremely responsive and helps my golfers learn to feel the subtle differences in the way they contact the ball. Over time, they will be able to consistently repeat their best strokes. Forged putters are also the easiest putters for making lie and loft adjustments, which is absolutely critical for a perfect fit.”
*****
“The perimeter weighting on the DS-1 is designed for stability, the leading edge is cambered and the micro-milled face gives a clean, sharp roll for better control. The whole set up and look at address makes it easy to just ‘point and shoot.
Dual Bounce J Grind Sole
Two Adjustable Weights
Triple Forged and CNC Milled
Versatile, adjustable and beautiful, the forged Gemini Wedges excel in mastering your short game.
The sole design is critical. Gemini Wedges feature a J Grind Sole with a leading edge that has a high bounce and a trailing edge at the back of the sole that offers a mid bounce with a heavy heel relief. The J Grind offers ease of play whether you are on a hard links course or on soft wet ground. Trap it and hit it low or lay the face open and flop it. This J Grind allows you to do all of your short game mastery in any conditions.
The Gemini also features two weight portals with 5 weight options (1.5, 3, 4.5, 7, 9 grams) so that KZG’s worldwide network of independent golf professionals can dial it in perfectly for every golfer. Altering the wedge weight as much as 15 grams makes a huge difference in the playability of the wedge. Wedges that are too heavy for the golfer cause many problems, including a chopping-type steep swing. Too light can lead to a lack of feel and control.
KZG’s triple forging method assures repeatable consistency as well as a soft buttery feel. The entire head of each Gemini Wedge is CNC milled to assure pin point precision on every specification so that the golfer can achieve pin point precision on every shot.
